I know you’re all dying to know how Shane and I celebrated our two year anniversary after last week’s post. Isn’t the suspense killing you!? Two years flew by so fast and so did our two year anniversary.
In my last post I wrote about following the traditional anniversary gifts by year. Year two is cotton and I had lots of trouble trying to figure out how to make that a special and unique gift. We ended up having a delicious dinner at the Melting Pot. Fun fact: while we were waiting to be seated at our table our wedding song, Christina Perri’s A Thousand Years, played on the speakers.
As a gift to us I found really cute signs on Etsy that are made out of cotton. I had it personalized with our names and wedding date. All I need to do is find a pretty frame and a place to hang it and our second anniversary will forever hang on the walls. I also told Shane I would do his laundry (Hey! It’s cotton!).
Maybe I should get started planning next year’s anniversary. Year three… leather. Boots, wallet, jacket… hmmm…

Wow, all of this is very cool and very nice. Can’t imagine how you will keep this all up when your baby comes. You will be a very busy lady. Loved to hear about you 2nd Anniversary, as Bill and I have never really celebrated our Anniversaries. Just something that we have zoomed through each year. Funny that it just doesn’t seem to bother me either. Maybe having such large families there always was something else to do or someone else to pay attention to. Who knows, but glad to see both of you appreciate one another. Makes me ” Happy”. Donna Lyn
