As I sat and fed Ayla in her room the other day I was looking around at all the pictures and shelves hanging on her walls. I rocked the two of us in the glider thinking to myself, “What if she wants to change the pictures and shelves when she is older and we can’t find the same paint color to fill in the holes?” I know, I know… what an odd thing to think of and why am I rushing the aging process!? Don’t I want Ayla to stay little forever?
Then it occurred to me to just buy extra paint next time we paint a room. Obviously a large can would be too much, but whenever you paint a room or a piece of furniture buy a sample size can too. That way whenever you have holes in the wall or scratches on the furniture you don’t need to go frantic trying to match the color.
You’re welcome!

I need paint right now to cover the beige color on the wall, when we take down pictures we do not want but I am having sometime matching the paint. I have to bring a chip to Lowes! Good idea Mel!
